Montessori learning in a multicultural community.
Children work with Montessori materials in mixed-age classrooms, choose their own work, and repeat it until they master it. Teachers observe each child and give the next lesson when the child is ready.
Native-speaker teachers use Mandarin and Spanish all day, alongside English, with in-depth language classes and one hour of French a week in Palo Alto. The week also includes music, Gymsport, gardening, cooking, geography, art, and science.

Since 1992, Casa dei Bambini has taught children from 18 months through kindergarten. Our guides are AMI- and AMS-trained, the school is led by an AMI-trained administrator, and Mandarin and Spanish are taught by native speakers.

Two teachers in every class
Toddler classes have up to 8 children and primary classes up to 24, each with two teachers. Monday to Thursday, specialists split classes into enrichment groups as small as 1 teacher to 2 toddlers or 1 to 6 primary children.
Native-speaker language teachers
Children hear Mandarin or Spanish all day, alongside English, from native-speaker teachers, not only in a weekly class. Palo Alto adds in-depth Mandarin and Spanish lessons and one hour of French a week.
Where our graduates go
Most families continue to private schools. Some choose public schools in Palo Alto and Menlo Park, and San Francisco families also go on to parochial and other private schools.
